Shantipath 2022

In the auspicious month of Shravan, devotees worship lord Shiva on every Monday and ask for his blessings. This day is called as 'Shravani Somvar'.
As lord Shiva appreciates tranquility, we observe Shantipath in the school to make the children aware of the importance of silence and hazards of noise pollution. We encourage children to listen to the numerous natural sounds.
We honour lord Shiva in the class room by placing his idol and offering white flowers and bel patra. We also place Shivlinga and shower milk and water through abhishek patra ( utensil with a small hole at the bottom). As lord Shiva likes white colour all teachers wear white dress on this day.
