Deep pooja 2022

Diya represents enlightment, prosperity, knowledge and wisdom. It symbolizes goodness and purity. Lightning the lamps means to get rid of darkness. Deep pooja is celebrated a day before the month of Shravan commences. It is observed on the day of Amavasya in the month of Aashadh. on this day to express gratitude to Agni devata, diyas are decorated and lit up in the evening. An offering of various delicacies is made to these lamps and prayers are offered to the Agni devata. This day remarks the beginning of Shravan from next day. We display Deep pooja project in the showcase where all types of diyas are displayed. We also display other lamps which are decorated with rangoli. We worship the lamps by offering haldi Kumkum, akshata, and flowers. Children participate in singing Deep vandan. Teachers perform a skit which signifies importance of light. Let worship of Diya and bring knowledge, happiness and prosperity in our life.
