Guru Purnima /Vyasa Purnima is celebrated to highlight the bond between Guru (Teacher) and Shishya (disciple). It is celebrated on the full moon day of Ashadh month. This day is widely observed to recognize the significant contribution of teachers in our lives. As a gesture of gratitude, we pay our respects to our founder members Smt Radhabai Chittar, Smt Sharadabai Chitale & Smt Shashikala Kasargoad. Principal ma’am, Teachers and students offer tribute to educators like Tarabai Modak, Gijubhai Badheka and Madam Maria Montessori who laid the foundation of early education. Children celebrate the day by singing shlokas and by bowing before their teachers and seeking their blessings for their guidance.
